Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Amid reports speculating an upcoming “Friends” reunion in 2015, actress Jennifer Aniston has set the record straight denying such, and suspects Matthew Perry to have started the buzz.
In an interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to air Thursday, the actress expressed that she has not heard about the “Friends” reunion rumor until show host Ellen DeGeneres told her so.
“I’m responsible for the entire ‘Friends’ reunion that’s gonna happen. Or is it?” DeGeneres told the 44-year-old actress-comedian.
An astonished Aniston commented, “Well, you’re hearing it here first. As am I!”
“No, I just heard, before you came out here—like an hour ago—it’s all over the internet. There’s a big rumor. It started in Oklahoma,” the host added.
The “Wanderlust” star then butted in and said jokingly, “Did Matthew Perry start that? Cause he’s getting some good airtime on this show. I’ve been watching.”
Meanwhile, Aniston, who is engaged to beau Justin Theroux, is to appear in an upcoming comedy film “We’re the Millers” alongside Emma Roberts and Jason Sudeikis. The film is slated for an August release.
